Avakov, for his part, stressed that the Ukraine-Canada Mobility Working Group is an effective tool to ensure proper communication between the competent agencies of both countries and intensify bilateral dialogue with the aim to improve mobility.

Representatives of relevant ministries and departments of the two countries discussed areas of effective cooperation between the governments in the field of migration and mobility. They paid special attention to the opportunities to increase the temporary mobility of Ukrainian and Canadian youth, as well as current challenges in the field of migration, and promising areas of cooperation between migration and border agencies of both countries.
