Shmyhal, Denisova discuss human rights protection in occupied territories

Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal and Verkhovna Rada Human Rights Commissioner Liudmyla Denisova discussed the issue of human rights protection in the temporarily occupied territories.

Shmyhal wrote about this on his Telegram channel.

"I met with Verkhovna Rada Human Rights Commissioner Liudmyla Denisova. We discussed topical issues of human rights protection, in particular in the temporarily occupied territories," he wrote.

Shmyhal also noted that he had received from Denisova an annual report on the state of observance and protection of human rights and freedoms in Ukraine.

As Ukrinform reported, Denisova received 2,031 reports of human rights violations on the protection of personal data last year.
