Zelensky leads rating of trust in politicians

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky leads the rating of trust in politicians, with 45% of Ukrainians who trust him and 52% who do not trust him, according to a survey conducted by the Rating sociological group on April 6-7, 2021.

According to the survey, 32% trust Verkhovna Rada Dmytro Razumkov, 35% do not trust him, and 29% do not know him. Batkivshchyna party leader Yulia Tymoshenko is trusted by 30% and distrusted by 68%. Fifth President of Ukraine, European Solidarity party leader Petro Poroshenko is trusted by 25% and distrusted by 74%. Some 24% trust Yuriy Boiko, co-chair of the Opposition Platform – For Life party faction, 59% do not trust him, and 14% do not know him. Some 17% trust Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal, 50% do not trust him, and almost a third have not heard of him. Some 16% trust Opposition Platform – For Life MP Viktor Medvedchuk, 71% do not trust him, and 11% do not know him.

The survey was conducted among residents of Ukraine aged 18 and older in all regions, except for the temporarily occupied territories of Crimea and Donbas. A total of 2,500 respondents were interviewed. The poll's margin of error does not exceed 2%.

According to a poll conducted by the Rating sociological group in February, Zelensky headed the rating of trust in politicians, with 38% of Ukrainians who trusted him and 58% who distrusted him.
