Ukraine climbs 13 positions in happiness ranking

Ukraine took the 110th place among 149 countries in the latest ranking of the happiest countries.

Compared with the previous year, Ukraine has climbed 13 positions in the World Happiness Report 2021.

For the fourth year in a row, Finland has come out on top, with Denmark coming in second, followed by Switzerland.

Iceland, the Netherlands, Norway, Sweden, Luxembourg, New Zealand and Austria were also placed in the top 10.

Rwanda, Zimbabwe and Afghanistan are at the bottom of the list.

The World Happiness Report 2021 has been primarily based on levels of GDP, life expectancy, generosity, social support, freedom and corruption.

As reported, Ukraine was 123rd in the ranking of the happiest countries in 2020, having climbed 10 positions from the previous year.
