Former Kremlin’s prisoners set up joint platform

Former prisoners of the Kremlin have set up and will soon present a joint platform for the release of Ukrainians currently held in detention.

As Oleh Sentsov posted on Facebook, the presentation of the Platform "Release of Prisoners" will take place in the assembly hall of the Kyiv Orthodox Theological Academy of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine on March 4 at 11:00.

“The founders of the Platform – Oleg Sentsov, Hero of Ukraine Volodymyr Zhemchuhov, Roman Sushchenko, Mykola Karpiuk, Edem Bekirov, Pavlo Hryb, Akhtem Chiygoz, Stanislav Aseev, Oleksandr Kolchenko, Volodymyr Balukh, Ihor Kozlovsky, Yevhen Panov, Ilmi Umerov, Mykola Semena, Ismayil Ramazanov, Oleksandr Shumkov, Ihor Movenko – will make a statement for the media about the purpose and objectives of the Platform, ways to release prisoners,” reads the statement.

It is noted that the event will be attended by the Primate of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine, Metropolitan Epiphanius, representatives of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church and Muslims. Embassy representatives are invited.

The coordinator of the Platform is Ihor Hryb.
