Ukrainians trust Razumkov, Zelensky the most

Ukrainians trust Verkhovna Rada Chairman Dmytro Razumkov and President Volodymyr Zelensky the most, according to a survey conducted by the Razumkov Center, entitled "Assessment of the situation in the country, trust in politicians, electoral orientations of citizens (January-February 2021)."

"Most respondents express their distrust of all politicians whose names were included in the questionnaire. Razumkov (32% of respondents trust him, but 53% do not trust him) and Zelensky (26.5% and 65.5%, respectively) enjoy a little greater trust than other politicians," the statement reads.

According to the poll, 22% of respondents trust co-chairman of the parliamentary faction of the Opposition Platform – For Life party Yuriy Boiko (70% do not trust him), 19.5% trust European Solidarity party leader Petro Poroshenko (75.5% do not trust him), and 19% trust Batkivshchyna party leader Yulia Tymoshenko (75% do not trust her).

The survey was conducted by the sociological service of the Razumkov Center from January 29 to February 3, 2021 through face-to-face interviews at the place of residence of respondents. A total of 2,019 respondents aged 18 years and over were interviewed in all regions of Ukraine, except for Crimea and the occupied territories of Donetsk and Luhansk regions. The poll's margin of error (excluding the design effect) does not exceed 2.3%.
