Russian actress banned from entering Ukraine for three years

Ukrainian border guards have banned a Russian actress, who visited Russian-occupied Crimea in violation of Ukrainian law, from entering Ukraine for three years, State Border Guard Service spokesperson Andriy Demchenko has said on Facebook.

"Due to the violation of Ukrainian legislation, the Russian was brought to administrative responsibility under Article 204-2 of the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offenses. She was denied crossing the border and banned from entering Ukraine for three years. She was sent back to the country of departure," the report reads.

It was established during border control that the Russian citizen illegally stayed in Crimea last year. She entered the peninsula in violation of the established entry and exit procedure.

According to Demchenko, the foreigner arrived at Boryspil International Airport from Istanbul.
