Highest incidence of COVID-19 recorded in Chernivtsi, Ivano-Frankivsk, Mykolaiv regions

The highest incidence of COVID-19 cases in Ukraine was recorded in Chernivtsi, Ivano-Frankivsk and Mykolaiv regions, according to data provided by the Health Ministry on February 3.

In particular, the incidence rate of COVID-19 in the past 14 days in Chernivtsi region amounted to 288 per 100,000 people, in Ivano-Frankivsk region – 281.5, in Mykolaiv region – 195.

In Kyiv city, the incidence rate of COVID-19 in the past 14 days amounted to 166.1 per 100,000 people.

An average incidence rate across Ukraine is 144.7 per 100,000 people.

The lowest incidence rate of COVID-19 in the past 14 days was recorded in Kirovohrad region (44.9 per 100,000 people).

As of February 2, the bed occupancy rate at COVID-19 designated hospitals across the country amounted to 27.4%, in Kyiv – 27.3%. The highest level of bed occupancy rate was recorded in Ivano-Frankivsk region – 52.9%.

As reported by Ukrinform, a total of 1,227,164 coronavirus cases were recorded in Ukraine on February 3, including 3,285 new COVID-19 cases registered in the past 24 hours.
