Kyiv reports 284 new coronavirus cases

The city of Kyiv has confirmed 284 new coronavirus cases in the past day, bringing the total to 128,834, according to Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko.

“+284 confirmed coronavirus cases (in total, 128,834),” he wrote on Facebook.

According to Klitschko, among people who have contracted COVID-19 in Kyiv in the past day are 160 women aged 18-96 years; a 14-year-old girl; 119 men aged 22-83 years; 4 boys aged 10-17 years old. Some 36 COVID-19 patients have been hospitalized.

Seven lethal cases from coronavirus have been confirmed in Kyiv over the past day. The total number of deaths from COVID-19 in Kyiv has reached 2,377.

At the same time, 1,823 people have recovered in Kyiv over the course of the past day. In total, 71,145 Kyiv residents have overcome the disease.

As reported by Ukrinform, a total of 1,223,879 coronavirus cases were recorded in Ukraine on February 2, including 2,394 new COVID-19 cases registered in the past 24 hours.
