Kyiv reports 341 new COVID-19 cases

Kyiv city has recorded 341 new coronavirus cases in the past day, bringing the total number to 128,174, according to Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko.

"Some 341 new coronavirus patients were registered in Kyiv over the past day. Fourteen people died. In total, 2,349 coronavirus deaths have been confirmed in the capital since the start of the pandemic," the mayor wrote on his Facebook page.

Among people who have contracted COVID-19 in Kyiv in the past day are 193 women aged 19-89 years; 9 girls aged 1-17 years; 131 men aged 22-89 years; and 8 boys aged 3-15 years. In particular, 15 health workers fell ill with COVID-19 over the past day.

At the same time, 2,129 people recovered in Kyiv over the past day. In total, 67,851 Kyiv residents have overcome the disease.

As of January 30, Ukraine reported 1,216,278 laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 cases, including 4,685 new cases recorded over the past 24 hours.
