Highest incidence of COVID-19 cases recorded in three regions, Kyiv city

As of January 25, the highest incidence of coronavirus cases in Ukraine has been recorded in Zaporizhzhia, Mykolaiv, Chernivtsi regions and the city of Kyiv.

According to the Health Ministry data, the highest incidence of coronavirus cases over the past 14 days was registered in Zaporizhzhia region (346.9 cases per 100,000 people), Mykolaiv region (308.7), Chernivtsi region (293.6) and Kyiv city (292.6).

An average incidence of COVID-19 cases across Ukraine is 197 cases per 100,000 people.

The lowest incidence rate of COVID-19 cases in the past 14 days was recorded in Kirovohrad region (77.5 per 100,000 people), Kherson region (120.1).

As of January 24, the occupancy rate for hospital beds set aside for COVID-19 amounted to 28.1% across the country and 28.5% in Kyiv city.

The highest level of occupancy rate was recorded in Mykolaiv region (38.5%).

As of January 25, Ukraine has reported a total of 1,194,328 laboratory-confirmed coronavirus cases, including 2,516 new cases recorded in the past 24 hours.
