Kyiv reports 931 new coronavirus cases

Kyiv has confirmed 931 new coronavirus cases in the past day, bringing the total to 115,300, according to Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko.

“Some 931 new coronavirus patients have been registered in Kyiv over the past day. Nineteen people have died. In total, 2,022 Kyiv residents have died from the coronavirus,” he wrote on his Telegram channel.

According to Klitschko, among people who have contracted COVID-19 in Kyiv in the past day are 540 women aged 18-90 years; 11 girls aged 5-17 years; 365 men aged 18-85 years; 15 boys aged 1-16 years old.

Some 651 people have recovered in Kyiv over the course of the past day. In total, 41,572 Kyiv residents have overcome the disease.

As reported by Ukrinform, a total of 1,090,496 coronavirus cases were recorded in Ukraine on January 6, including 6, 911 new COVID-19 cases registered in the past 24 hours.
