Kyiv reports 1,332 new coronavirus cases

Kyiv has confirmed 1,332 new coronavirus cases in the past day, bringing the total to 111,471, according to Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko.

“Some 1,332 new coronavirus patients have been registered in the capital over the past day. Twenty-two people have died. In total, 1,919 Kyiv residents have died from the coronavirus,” he wrote on his Telegram channel.

According to Klitschko, among people who have contracted COVID-19 in Kyiv in the past day are 743 women aged 18-99 years; 29 girls aged between 3 months and 17 years; 536 men aged 18-90 years; 24 boys aged 1-16 years old. Also, 51 health workers have fallen ill with COVID-19 over the past day.

Some 547 patients have recovered in Kyiv over the course of the past day. In total, 39,404 Kyiv residents have overcome the disease.

As reported by Ukrinform, a total of 1,055,047 coronavirus cases were recorded in Ukraine on December 31, including 9,699 new COVID-19 cases registered in the past 24 hours.
