258 Ukrainians gone missing in occupied Donbas

258 Ukrainian citizens have gone missing in the temporarily occupied territories.

"As for 251 people [who are held captive by militants in the temporarily occupied territories], this information was confirmed through Ukraine’s Security Service prisoner release center. There are 34 servicepersons, four volunteers among them. The rest are civilians. This number has been confirmed by the Security Service of Ukraine through appeals of citizens, through the confirmation of witnesses, including those who returned from captivity. But we still have 258 persons missing, so we don't know if they are alive, we need to search for them," Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights Liudmyla Denisova said on the air of Ukraine 24 TV channel, Ukrinform reports.

When asked whether it is possible to predict the date of a prisoner exchange and its conditions, given the availability of verified information, Denisova said that she can speak only of things she knows.
