Although it’s just the other way around," Minister of Culture and Information Policy of Ukraine Oleksandr Tkachenko said at a live conference dedicated the results of the Ministry’s activities in 2020 and plans for next year, Ukrinform correspondent reported.

He noted that the strategic goals of the Ministry for 2021-2024 are aimed at creating a safe language and information space, increasing the capacity of the population to critically perceive and use information, providing the population of Ukraine with high-quality and affordable cultural services and opportunities for self-fulfilment and preserving, protecting, promoting the cultural heritage and cultural values ​​of the Ukrainian people.

On June 4, 2020, the Verkhovna Rada appointed Oleksandr Tkachenko to as the Minister of Culture and Information Policy of Ukraine.
