Zelensky presents awards to five retired judges

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has presented state awards and honorary titles to five retired judges on the occasion of the Day of Court Employees.

A respective decree, No. 569/2020 of December 15, has been published on the website of the head of state.

According to the document, the awards and honorary titles were given to the judges "for their significant personal contribution to developing the rule of law, developing the domestic judicial system, and for many years of hard work and high professionalism."

The president awarded Natalia Slavhorodksa, a judge of Mykolaiv Regional Court of Appeal, an Order of Princess Olga, 3rd class.

In addition, the title of "Honored Lawyer of Ukraine" was conferred on Liudmyla Dufnik, a retired judge of Khmelnytskyi Regional Court of Appeal, Mykola Panchenko, a retired judge of Kyiv Court of Appeal, Volodymyr Pyrohovskyi, a retired judge of Odesa Commercial Court of Appeal, and Vasyl Yuvshyn, a retired judge of Cherkasy Regional Court of Appeal.

Ukraine marks the Day of Court Employees on December 15. The holiday was established by a presidential decree of December 8, 2000.
