Health Ministry names regions with highest incidence rate of COVID-19

The highest incidence rate of COVID-19 in Ukraine was recorded in Sumy, Cherkasy, Zaporizhzhia and Kyiv regions, according to data provided by the Health Ministry on December 4.

In particular, the incidence rate of COVID-19 during the past 14 days in Sumy region reached 1,054.4 per 100,000 population, Cherkasy region – 762.9, Zaporizhzhia region – 743.9, and Kyiv region – 728.9.

The incidence rate of COVID-19 in the city of Kyiv is 679.8 per 100,000 population. An average incidence rate across Ukraine is 498.4 per 100,000 population.

As reported by Ukrinform, a total of 787,891 COVID-19 cases were laboratory confirmed in Ukraine on December 4, including 15,131 new cases reported in the past 24 hours.
