Highest incidence rate of COVID-19 recorded in Sumy, Cherkasy and Zaporizhzhia regions

As of November 25, the highest incidence rate of COVID-19 in Ukraine was recorded in Sumy, Cherkasy and Zaporizhzhia regions, according to data provided by the Health Ministry.

In particular, the incidence rate of COVID-19 during the past 14 days in Sumy region reached 860.7 per 100,000 population, Cherkasy region – 738.3, and Zaporizhzhia region – 657.4.

The high incidence rate of COVID-19 was also recorded in Kyiv region – 647.1, Chernivtsi region – 640.8, Zhytomyr region – 596, and Ivano-Frankivsk region – 568.8.

The incidence rate of COVID-19 in the city of Kyiv is 539.2 per 100,000 population. An average incidence rate across Ukraine is 451.7 per 100,000 population.

The bed occupancy rate at COVID-19 designated hospitals in the past five days amounted to 51.9% as of November 24. In Kyiv city, this figure amounted to 58.3% as of November 24.

The high level of bed occupancy rate was recorded in Poltava region - 70%, Chernihiv region - 62%, and Zaporizhzhia region - 66.6%.

As reported, some 13,882 new coronavirus cases have been recorded in Ukraine in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases to 661,858.
