Highest incidence rate of COVID-19 recorded in Zhytomyr, Chernivtsi, Sumy regions

As of November 19, the highest incidence of COVID-19 in Ukraine was recorded in Zhytomyr, Chernivtsi, and Sumy regions, according to data provided by the Health Ministry.

In particular, the incidence rate of COVID-19 during the past 14 days in Zhytomyr region reached 660 per 100,000 population, Chernivtsi region – 656.2, Sumy region – 651.7. The high incidence rate of COVID-19 was also recorded in Khmelnytskyi region (520.7), Ivano-Frankivsk region (554.4), Zaporizhzhia region (579.3), Volyn region (510.7), Kyiv region (506.1), and Rivne region (501.3).

The lowest incidence rate of COVID-19 in the last 14 days has been reported in Kirovohrad region (120.4), Vinnytsia region (187.6), and Luhansk region (190.5).

The incidence rate of COVID-19 in the city of Kyiv is 466.4 per 100,000 population. An average incidence rate across Ukraine is 401.8 per 100,000 population.

The bed occupancy rate at COVID-19 designated hospitals in the past five days amounted to 52.8% as of November 18. In Kyiv city, this figure amounted to 53.2%.

As of November 19, Ukraine reported 583,510 laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 cases, including 13,357 new cases recorded in the past 24 hours.
