Weekend lockdown will not affect public transport operation – Kryklii

During a national weekend lockdown, the operation of public transport in Ukraine will not stop, Infrastructure Minister Vladyslav Kryklii has said.

He noted that vehicles, including shuttle buses, trolleybuses, trams and trains, will carry passengers in accordance with the available number of seats. “This applies to urban, suburban, intercity, intraregional and interregional transport connection,” he wrote on his Telegram channel.

Domestic flights will be operated without restrictions. "When traveling abroad, check out the entry and exit requirements established for Ukrainian citizens by a country you are going to," the minister stressed.

As Ukrinform reported, at a meeting on November 11, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine made a decision to introduce a national weekend lockdown.
