Hospitals for COVID-19 patients occupied by 62.4% - Health Ministry

The occupancy of beds in medical institutions prepared for the first wave of the COVID-19 pandemic amounted to 62.4% as of November 8, according to data provided by the Health Ministry of Ukraine.

The largest number of hospitals is occupied in Poltava region - 92.5%, Rivne region - 82.9%, Chernihiv region - 73.8%, Donetsk region - 72%. In Kyiv city, this figure amounted to 58.2% as of November 8.

The highest incidence rate of COVID-19 during the past 14 days has been recorded in Chernivtsi region (631.6 per 100,000 population), Zhytomyr region (534.8), and Khmelnytskyi region (508.2).

The lowest incidence rate of COVID-19 in the last 14 days has been reported in Kirovohrad region (110.7), Dnipropetrovsk region (152.4), and Luhansk region (194.2).

The incidence rate of COVID-19 in the city of Kyiv is 356.1 per 100,000 population. An average incidence rate across Ukraine is 315.3 per 100,000 population.

As of November 9, 469,018 COVID-19 cases were laboratory confirmed in Ukraine, including 8,687 cases recorded during the previous day.
