Kyiv reports 781 new coronavirus cases

Kyiv city has already reported 37,549 coronavirus cases, including 781 new cases recorded in past 24 hours.

“To date, COVID-19 rate in the capital has not decreased. Over the past day, 781 new coronavirus cases were recorded. Twenty-three people died. In total, coronavirus claimed the lives of 766 Kyiv residents,” Mayor Vitali Klitschko posted on Telegram.

In particular, 400 women aged 20-85 years, 30 girls aged 4 -16 years, 324 men aged 18-84 years, 27 boys aged 1-17 years were tested positive. Thirty-eight health workers contracted coronavirus over the past day.

Sixty-two patients were hospitalized in past 24 hours.

Since the start of the pandemic, 12,862 Kyiv residents recovered from coronavirus, including 223 people over the past day.

To date, Kyiv has already 37,549 laboratory-confirmed coronavirus cases.

As of October 31, Ukraine has reported 387,481 laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 cases, including 8,752 new cases registered over the past day.
