Ryanair resumes flights from Kherson

International low-cost carrier Ryanair has opened ticket sales for renewed Krakow-Kherson-Krakow and Katowice-Kherson-Katowice routes.

“In the spring of 2021, residents and guests of our region will be able to take advantage of the flights of the international airline Ryanair which were launched in December last year. The airline has already opened ticket sales for two renewed routes: Krakow-Kherson-Krakow and Katowice-Kherson-Katowice,” Chairman of the Kherson Regional State Administration Yuriy Husev said at a briefing on October 28, Ukrinform reports.

According to the Kherson Regional State Administration, the Krakow-Kherson-Krakow flights are scheduled for Tuesdays and Saturdays starting from 30 March 2021. The Katowice-Kherson-Katowice flights are scheduled for Wednesdays and Sundays from 28 March 2021.

Currently, scheduled flights from Kherson region are operated by two airlines: Turkish Airlines (two weekly flights from Istanbul) and Windrose (five weekly flights to Kyiv).

As reported, Ryanair carried about 10,000 people on Kherson-Krakow-Kherson and Kherson-Katowice-Kherson routes from January to mid-March 2020. The routes were opened in December last year and January this year, respectively.
