Ukrainian Canadian Congress elects new head of its Toronto branch

At the annual general meeting of the Ukrainian Canadian Congress (UCC) Toronto Branch, a new president and a new Board of Directors were elected for the 2020-2022 term.

Petro Schturyn became a new head of the UCC Toronto Branch, according to a report posted on the UCC’s page on Facebook.

“It is a great honour and responsibility to lead an organization like the UCC Toronto Branch. With 70 member organizations we are united and excited to work together for the benefit of Canada and Ukraine,” he said.

Petro Schturyn also thanked delegates and guests for their participation.

The new Board of Directors of the UCC Toronto Branch is composed of 27 representatives from 66 member organizations of the UCC Toronto Branch.
