Dzheppar meets with Ukrainian community in Slovakia

As part of her working visit to Bratislava, First Deputy Foreign Minister of Ukraine Emine Dzheppar met with the Ukrainian community in Slovakia on October 7.

The Embassy of Ukraine in the Slovak Republic wrote about this on its Facebook page, Ukrinform reports.

During the meeting, the first deputy foreign minister discussed with representatives of the Ukrainian community the issues of ensuring their rights in the Slovak Republic, the situation with Ukrainian education, in particular, Ukrainian compulsory education.

She also called on Ukrainians living in Slovakia "not to stand aside from the political processes taking place in Ukraine, to actively participate in state events, the Ukrainian World Congress to cover Russia's aggressive actions, and counteract fake information propaganda against Ukraine."

Emine Dzheppar also told about her participation in the 15th International Security Forum GLOBSEC, as part of which "Crimean panel" was organized for the first time at the initiative of the Ukrainian side.

In addition, the first deputy foreign minister opened the photo exhibition "Occupied Crimea in the lens of persecuted photographers".
