Ukraine records more than 2,000 recoveries from COVID-19 in past 24 hours

Some 2,110 patients have recovered from COVID-19 in Ukraine over the course of the previous day, according to Health Minister Maksym Stepanov.

"2,110 patients have recovered, which is a good record. We have not had more than 2,000 recoveries [per day]," Stepanov said at a press briefing on September 30, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

Overall, 92,360 patients have recovered and 4,129 have died from coronavirus in Ukraine since the start of the pandemic.

At the same time, Stepanov has stressed that the number of hospitalizations is growing. Some 723 people were hospitalized on September 29.

As Ukrinform reported, on September 30, Ukraine recorded a total of 208,959 COVID-19 cases, including 4,027 cases confirmed over the previous day.
