PM Shmyhal visits Sumy Regional Hospital

Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal has visited the Sumy Regional Clinical Hospital during his working trip to Sumy region.

"I have met with the staff of the Sumy Regional Clinical Hospital. It is the main healthcare institution in the region. Up to 22,000 patients receive services here every year, so modern and comfortable conditions must be created for them. As part of the President's project "Great Construction", the completion stage of building B construction is underway, new equipment will be purchased soon and the list of services will be expanded," Shmyhal wrote on his Telegram channel.

The prime minister noted that among the priorities for the hospital modernization are the construction of a new surgical building and the reconstruction of the reception department.

As Ukrinform reported, Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal is on a working trip to Sumy region on Tuesday, September 22.
