Kyiv receives humanitarian aid from Seoul

Seoul (South Korea) has sent 3,500 protective suits to healthcare workers in Kyiv to combat the spread of COVID-19, the press service of the Kyiv City State Administration has reported.

“The Seoul Metropolitan Government has donated 3,500 protective suits to healthcare workers in Kyiv to combat the spread of the coronavirus disease. This initiative is linked to the desire of Seoul, like the rest of the world, to accelerate the end of the epidemic," the report reads.

The humanitarian aid was distributed among hospital bases designed for receiving coronavirus patients and hospitals that provide urgent assistance to the residents of Kyiv.

As reported, over the past day, September 10, Kyiv confirmed 404 new coronavirus cases, which is the highest number of daily COVID-19 cases in the city since the start of the pandemic.

As of September 11, Ukraine reported 148,756 laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 cases, including 3,144 new cases recorded over the past day.
