Slovenia introduces mandatory quarantine for Ukrainians

Slovenia has changed the rules of entry for Ukrainians. From August 21, Ukrainian citizens must undergo 14-day quarantine upon arrival in the country.

Slovenia put Ukraine on the list of “red zone” countries due to the unfavorable epidemiological situation, the press service of the Government of Slovenia informs.

Apart from Ukraine, Slovenia’s "red list" includes Russia, Moldova, Serbia, Montenegro, Croatia, Albania, Belgium – a total of 74 countries.

Citizens of 19 countries on Slovenia's "green list" are not required to self-isolate.

Currently, Slovenia is one of 40 countries Ukrainians can travel to.

As of August 21, Ukraine has reported 100,643 laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 cases including 2,106 new cases recorded over the past 24 hours.
