43 new coronavirus cases recorded in occupied Crimea

Forty-three coronavirus cases have been recorded in occupied Crimea over the past day, including four cases in the city of Sevastopol.

“Thirty-nine coronavirus cases have been recorded in Crimea over the past day. According to the Crimean ‘Ministry of Health’, one patient died of COVID-19,” the Crimean Human Rights Group posted on Facebook.

A total of 1,386 coronavirus cases have been registered in Crimea since the start of pandemic.

The city of Sevastopol has reported four new COVID-19 cases over the past 24 hours. According to the city “authorities”, a man and his two children aged five and nine years, as well as a woman who had contacted infected people, contracted coronavirus. One woman aged 88 years died from COVID-19 over the past day.

Sevastopol has reported 360 coronavirus cases since the beginning of the year. Eleven people died.

A total of 1,746 of COVID-19 cases and 46 deaths have been confirmed on the Crimean Peninsula since the start of pandemic.
