Six organizations from Ukraine join Erasmus Mundus master degree programmes

Six partner organizations from Ukraine have joined the Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degree (EMJMD) programmes, according to the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry.

“Six partner organizations from Ukraine have joined the Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degree (EMJMD) programmes. These international training programs are implemented as part of the EU Erasmus + Programme. The results of the 2020 competition have been announced by the Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA) of the European Commission,” the Foreign Ministry wrote on Facebook.

According to the Foreign Ministry, 40 projects involving Ukrainian organizations were selected from about 100 applicants. Erasmus+ has invested over €160 million in these new programmes. Starting from 2021, these projects will offer scholarships to candidates from all over the world.

The six Ukrainian partner organizations include five higher education institutions and one non-governmental organization: National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy, Ternopil Volodymyr Hnatyuk National Pedagogical University, Ivan Franko National University of Lviv, Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University, and the Association “Ukrainian Agribusiness Club”.

Erasmus+ is the EU's programme to support projects of cooperation, partnerships, activities and mobility in higher education, vocational training, youth and sport. Joint master degree programmes will offer scholarships to students from across the world and cover costs of education, transfers etc.
