Kyiv city reports 104 new coronavirus cases in past 24 hours

Kyiv city has confirmed 104 new cases of the coronavirus COVID-19 over the past day, bringing the total number of cases in the city to 5,242, according to Mayor Vitali Klitschko.

“Some 104 new coronavirus cases have been confirmed among Kyiv residents over the past day. Three patients have died. In total, 111 Kyiv residents have died from the coronavirus,” Klitschko wrote on Facebook.

Among the people who have contracted COVID-19 in Kyiv city in the past day are 57 women aged 19-94 years; three girls aged between 3 months and 9 years; 40 men aged 20-83 years; four boys aged between 10 months and 15 years.

According to the mayor, Kyiv city has confirmed 44 recoveries from COVID-19. In total, 1,642 Kyiv residents have overcome the disease.

On July 2, Ukraine reported 45,887 laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 cases, including 889 new cases confirmed in the previous day.
