President examines effects of floods in Ivano-Frankivsk region
During an urgent working trip to Ivano-Frankivsk region, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky personally examined the effects of flooding in the region.
"During an urgent working trip to Ivano-Frankivsk region, President Volodymyr Zelensky personally examined the consequences of floods in the region. The head of state flew over the territories affected by the natural disaster and got acquainted with the course of the emergency response," the president’s press service reports.
Zelensky was informed that as of the morning of June 25, the intensity of rainfall in western regions of Ukraine has decreased, and the water level is gradually declining. Maximum water levels have already been passed in Ivano-Frankivsk, Zakarpattia and Lviv regions. In Zakarpattia region, the situation has returned to normal, there is no flooding of settlements.
