Kyiv city reports 99 new COVID-19 cases in past 24 hours

Kyiv city has confirmed 99 new cases of the coronavirus COVID-19 over the past day, according to Mayor Vitali Klitschko.

“The number of city residents with laboratory-confirmed coronavirus disease has grown by 99 people over the past day. It total, there have been 4,528 cases of COVID-19 in the capital,” Klitschko said at a briefing.

Among the people who have contracted COVID-19 in Kyiv city in the past day are 60 women aged 22-70 years; three girls aged 1-14 years; 31 men aged 19-74 years; 5 boys aged 1-11 years.

Also, five health workers tested positive for coronavirus yesterday.

Kyiv city has confirmed 25 recoveries over the past day. In total, 1,440 recoveries have been recorded in the city since the start of the pandemic.

As Ukrinform reported, Ukraine’s cases of coronavirus rose to 39,014 on June 24, including 940 new infections confirmed in the previous day.
