Kyiv city reports 61 new COVID-19 cases in past 24 hours

Kyiv city has confirmed 61 new cases of the coronavirus COVID-19 over the past day, according to Mayor Vitali Klitschko.

“The number of city residents with laboratory-confirmed coronavirus disease has grown by 61 people over the past day. Three persons have died. It total, 101 residents have died of the coronavirus,” Klitschko wrote on his Telegram channel.

As of June 23, Kyiv city reported a total of 4,429 confirmed coronavirus cases.

Among the people who have contracted COVID-19 in Kyiv city in the past day are 29 women aged 22-79 years; two girls aged 2 and 10 years; 28 men aged 24-88 years; 2 boys aged 2 and 15 years.

Kyiv city has confirmed 24 recoveries over the past day. In total, 1,415 recoveries have been recorded in the city since the start of the pandemic.

As Ukrinform reported, Ukraine’s cases of coronavirus rose to 38,074 on June 23, including 833 new infections confirmed in the previous day.
