Kuleba: Foreign Ministry will not stand in way of Ukrainians willing to travel abroad

Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba has stated that the Foreign Ministry will not prevent Ukrainians from traveling abroad on vacation, but reminds that in the current conditions, any trip is associated with risk.

In an interview with Ukrinform, Kuleba said: “The Foreign Ministry will not stand in the way of Ukrainian citizens willing to travel somewhere. However, all that is in my power is to remind them that any journey now may put them in danger. So, travel if you want, but always remember that the world is dangerous!”

He has stressed that the Foreign Ministry’s main tasks are to promote the freedom of movement of citizens and protect their rights abroad.

As Ukrinform reported, the Cabinet of Ministers on March 12 introduced quarantine measures in Ukraine to combat the spread of the coronavirus infection COVID-19.

Later, the government decided to resume domestic flights from June 5 and international flights from June 15.
