Sumy city receives another humanitarian aid from China

Another humanitarian cargo with personal protective equipment has arrived in Sumy city from the twin city of Xinxiang (PRC), Sumy City Council has reported.

“The humanitarian cargo contains 5,000 face masks and 30 hazmat suits. Sumy Mayor Oleksandr Lysenko thanked the city leadership for their support and significant assistance in the fight against the spread of coronavirus disease,” the report says.

Personal protective equipment will be distributed, depending on the need, between medical institutions and educational institutions.

Earlier, in May, Sumy City Healthcare Department received 10,000 masks from Xinxiang.

As of June 12, Ukraine reported 29,753 laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 cases. Some 683 new cases were recorded over the past 24 hours.
