PM: Government imposes no restrictions on Ukrainians’ travels abroad

The information about the alleged imposition of restrictions on travels abroad for Ukrainians is fake.

"As for restrictions on leaving the country, it's a fake and a lie. The Government did not impose any restrictions," Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal said during an hour of questions to the Government, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

The Ukrainian side now holds talks with the European governments, explaining that when Ukrainians are invited to work, their employment must be official, workers must have medical guarantees and guarantees of normal working and living conditions and of return to Ukraine, the Prime Minister noted.

"For the first time, we have had an opportunity to conduct an equal dialogue to protect the interests of our people in European countries, and today the companies that invite our people to work there fully adhere to these conditions," Shmyhal said.

He noted that it was only a matter of taking care of our citizens, in particular, creating decent working conditions for them, as well as avoiding the "import-export" of coronavirus from other countries with COVID-19 outbreaks.
