Turkey delivers humanitarian aid to Ukraine to tackle COVID-19

Turkey has delivered humanitarian aid to Ukraine today to tackle the spread of the coronavirus COVID-19.

Deputy Foreign Minister Vasyl Bodnar and representatives of the Health Ministry and the Embassy of Turkey were at Boryspil Airport for the arrival of the humanitarian cargo in the country.

"Today, a Turkish Airlines plane has delivered humanitarian cargo from the Republic of Turkey to Boryspil Airport: 150,000 masks, protective glasses, shields, disinfectants...," Bodnar wrote on Facebook.

He thanked Turkish friends for their support and solidarity with Ukraine.

As reported, as of Friday morning, Ukraine reported 14,195 laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 cases, including 504 new cases in the previous day.
