Five planes delivering medical supplies to Ukraine every week from abroad

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has stated that about five planes a week deliver medical supplies to Ukraine for fighting coronavirus.

According to him, the President's Office has managed to deliver to Ukraine over 700,000 respirators, over 120,000 protective suits, 60,000 medical protective goggles, 7 million pairs of gloves, 20,000 thermometers, 250,000 PCR tests, and 550,000 rapid tests in almost a month and a half.

Zelensky also informed that the delivery of 300,000 respirators, 105,000 protective suits, and raw materials for the production of Ukrainian tests was expected this weekend.

“Overall, we have about five planes a week,” the Head of State said during the talk show “Freedom of Speech by Savik Shuster”.

"I am grateful for that to the People's Republic of China, our Korean colleagues, Switzerland and the UAE, because there is a ban on exports in many countries, including Ukraine, but we help each other," the President said.

At the same time, he emphasized that huge money was being spent on medical supplies and thanked the business that had joined the provision of assistance.
