Seven more coronavirus cases confirmed in Kyiv Pechersk Lavra

Seven more coronavirus cases have been recorded in the Kyiv Pechersk Lavra, according to Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko.

“Seven more cases have been reported in the Kyiv Pechersk Lavra. Some 16 patients have been sent to capital's hospitals. Others are being treated in self-isolation, under the supervision of doctors," Klitschko said at a briefing on April 17.

As Ukrinform reported, the Kyiv city’s emergency committee on April 13 approved a decision to close the Kyiv Pechersk Lavra for quarantine. Over 90 people in the monastery contracted Covid-19.

As of the morning on April 17, Ukraine reported 4,662 laboratory-confirmed Covid-19 cases, including 125 deaths and 246 recoveries.
