Ukraine invited to international pilot projects on e-signature

Ukraine has been selected from the EU Eastern Partnership countries to participate in pilot projects on the use of electronic signatures, according to the Ministry of Digital Transformation.

"Ukraine has been selected from the EU's Eastern Partnership countries and invited to participate in pilot projects on e-signature. The selection was made on the basis of an assessment of the adaptation of Ukrainian legislation and the technical implementation of requirements in the field of electronic trust services," the ministry wrote on its Telegram channel.

The ministry explained that the purpose of the project is to achieve the technical cross-border interoperability of qualified electronic signatures. This will give the opportunity to sign agreements and other documents with foreign companies using electronic signature.

In particular, Ukraine will test e-signatures by the real examples of use in Estonia and Moldova.
