Over 6,000 Ukrainians arrive in Ukraine over past 24 hours

A total of 6,300 Ukrainians have arrived in Ukraine over the past 24 hours, while more than 3,400 people, including 1,300 foreigners, have left the country, the State Border Guard Service has reported.

"Border guards have carried out more than 11,900 passage operations over the past 24 hours. On April 9, 6,300 of our compatriots were registered for entry to Ukraine. In addition, more than 3,400 people, including more than 1,300 foreigners, left Ukraine yesterday," the report reads.

On April 9, border guards, in cooperation with representatives of the sanitary and quarantine units, conducted the temperature screening and health surveys of over 8,500 people traveling to Ukraine

An additional examination by doctors showed no signs of coronavirus disease (COVID-19). Informative letters of consent for self-isolation were also registered in accordance with the established procedure.

In addition, 25 violators of quarantine rules were identified at checkpoints on April 9, and the violations were reported to police officers.

Some 5,600 Ukrainian citizens entered Ukraine on April 8.
