Kuleba anticipates three big waves of evacuation of Ukrainians from abroad

Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba anticipates three big waves of evacuation of Ukrainians from abroad, including due to possible economic recession in Europe.

"Now we have the first [wave of evacuation]. These are people who got really scared and realized that they need to go home. There is a second, hidden wave. They think, ‘That’s nothing, we need to wait out.’ And there will be the third wave when the economic recession will begin in Europe. People will start to lose jobs and they will go home. So this is not a process that will end immediately, we cannot evacuate people and say, ‘Great, it's over.’ I think all this will take several months,” Kuleba said in an interview with the Babel Ukrainian media outlet.

As of 20:00, March 24, a total of 78,592 Ukrainians returned home from abroad with the assistance of diplomatic institutions.
