Ukrainians evacuated from Italy tested negative for coronavirus

Coronavirus infection has not been detected in any of 123 Ukrainians, who arrived at the Boryspil airport from Italy.

"A rapid test for COVID-19 did not detect infection in 123 people evacuated from Italy. All tests showed a negative result, no coronavirus infection was detected," the Health Ministry of Ukraine posted on Facebook.

As noted, all evacuees were taken temperature on board. Disaster medicine center physicians conducted health surveillance during the flight. And after the plane had landed at the Boryspil Airport, epidemiologists did COVID-19 quick test.

All evacuees pledged to self-isolate for 14 days.

On March 15, SkyUp Airlines evacuated the passengers of two buses that had not been allowed to cross Italy-Slovenia border and another 27 people who expressed their desire to be evacuated from Italy.
