The Cabinet of Ministers has decided to allocate UAH 100 million for the purchase of personal protective equipment to fight the spread of the Covid-19 coronavirus infection in Ukraine.

"At a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers on March 11, it was decided to allocate UAH 100 million for the priority purchase of personal protective equipment for the current needs of ministries, departments and services, as well as to replenish the state reserves," reads the statement on the Government portal.

To implement this decision, the export of anti-epidemic goods is banned by June 1 in order to guarantee the provision of the necessary protective equipment to the population.

As reported, Ukraine's Cabinet of Ministers approved a final plan to fight the spread of the Covid-19 coronavirus infection in the country, which envisages a three-week nationwide quarantine in educational institutions and a ban on the holding of mass events.
