Head of the Luhansk Regional State Administration Serhiy Haidai and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Hungary to Ukraine István Íjgyártó have discussed prospective projects to be implemented in the region, the administration’s press service has reported.

“The meeting took place in Sievierodonetsk on March 4. And tomorrow [on March 5] in the village of Valuyske in Stanichno-Luhansk district, the renovated building of the rural clinic of general practice/ family medicine will be opened. It has been restored and supplied with medical equipment with the help of Hungarian partners,” reads the statement.

It notes that medical staff of the clinic will provide necessary aid to local residents, as well as residents of the temporarily occupied territories.

“We look forward to a fruitful cooperation in the future and are open to any suggestions. I will do my best if partners require support in implementing further projects in the region. In addition, I will assist in organizing high-level work meetings. Each of them is part of Luhansk region’s restoration,” Haidai stressed.

István Íjgyártó, in turn, noted that the Hungarian government is working hard to improve the situation in Luhansk. "By implementing such projects, we hope for the development of this territory," the diplomat said.
