SkyUp suspends flights to Turin

SkyUp suspends flights to Turin from March 5 due to a coronavirus outbreak in Italy.

"SkyUp Airlines has decided to temporarily suspend flights to Turin, a destination in the area of a growing number of novel coronavirus cases in Italy. The changes in flight schedule take effect on March 5," the airline's press service told Ukrinform.

SkyUp Airlines CEO Yevheniy Khainatsky said that the airlines had big plans for Italy and this year's flight program included more than ten routes from Kyiv and the regions: "But we cannot ignore the current situation and people's concerns, so we reduce air links with the country until the situation is normalized."

As noted, SkyUp plans to resume suspended flights after the situation settles down. Passengers, who booked tickets for canceled flights, should apply for a refund or to book tickets on alternative carrier’s routes.

At present, SkyUp operates flights only on one route to Italy, Kyiv-Naples.
