"On the first day when we started [temperature checks], we isolated several people, and today we are conducting laboratory tests at a central virology laboratory at the Public Health Center on two cases of suspected coronavirus infection. These are two people from the Chernivtsi region. The samples have been submitted to the laboratory, preparations are underway, research will be carried out today, and we will have the results. First, we tested the samples in the laboratory of the Chernivtsi Laboratory Center, tests for influenza and influenza-like diseases were negative, so they were submitted for testing the presence of coronavirus infection," he said at a briefing on Thursday, February 27.
