Prystaiko declares five apartments, over UAH 2 mln in income

Ukrainian Foreign Minister Vadym Prystaiko earned UAH 2,072,520 as income in 2019, according to his asset declaration posted on the website of the National Agency for the Prevention of Corruption.

In particular, Prystaiko's salary amounted to UAH 690,067, and compensation for work abroad at the Mission of Ukraine to NATO reached UAH 1,382,453. Last year, the minister's wife received UAH 336,000 in income for leasing property.

Prystaiko and his wife save UAH 204,966 and EUR 7,384 on bank accounts, as well as EUR 42,984 and UAH 170,000 in cash.

The foreign minister also declared five apartments in Kyiv. He also owns a 2017 BMW X1 SUV.

Prystaiko was appointed Ukraine's foreign minister on August 29, 2019. Prior to that, he served as deputy head of the Office of the President of Ukraine from May to August. He headed the Mission of Ukraine to NATO from September 2017.
